In the mid-Adriatic sea, near the islands of Šibenik, there is one special group of islands, very special and diverse. It's called Kornati.

Due to its wonderful paysages of untouched nature a peculiar geomorphology and a very diverse eco system of the surrounding sea, the entire aquatorium is a national park (from 1980).

Today the national park stretches over 220 k2 and includes 80 islands, cays and cliffs with aproximately 238 km shore line. Only ¼ of the park is on land, everything else is under the sea.
